Coriander Rice | Indian Vegetarian Dish – Easy & Quick Recipes

● Boiled rice – 1 cup
● Tamarind (imalee) – ½ cup
● Split black gram(kaala chana) – 1t-spoon
● Salt to taste
● Mustard seeds- ½ t-spoon
● 1 small bunch coriander leaves
● Green chilli – 1 piece
● Ginger (adrak)- Small piece
● oil- 2 t-spoon

Step 1: soak half a cup of tamarind in water for half an hour and then make chutney out of it.

Step 2: Finely chop ginger, some green chillies and a bunch of coriander leaves.

Step 3: Now fry 1 tsp of mustard and 1 tsp of urad dal in a small vessel.

Step 4: Transfer finely chopped ginger along with green chillies into the above mixture and fry again.

Step 5: Now add the chopped coriander and 2 tbsp of tamarind chutney
Step 6: Cook it for 5 to 7 minutes and then add 1 cup of cooked rice to the mixture along with some salt as per your taste.
Keep mixing it slowly on low flame and your delicious hot coriander rice is ready
